Her Riot is an anti-band recording songs shown as video installations rather than performing live gigs. Her Riot records reflective songs accompanied by ethereal imagery governed by a set of rules created in order to counteract one dimensional mainstream consumer signifiers of how people should look and perform.The politics of imagery, music and coolness is the subject matter of the zine that is produced for each installation.

Her Riot combines songwriting, musicianship, drawing, painting, video, graphic design, textiles and installation to realise each exhibition.
